We aim for meaningful partnerships with industry leaders to provide transparent solutions for the entire textile and fashion industry.

Our partnership with ECOLIFE® by Belda Llorens, IMPETUS® and Good Earth Cotton® is one example of how we are committed to driving circular and carbon positive solutions for the industry backed by informed data and traceability.

Three recycled yarns launched to market with ECOLIFE® made from pre-consumer and post-consumer waste textiles, including cotton and cellulose.

We added the power of our powerful traceability technology to ensure that recycled fibres can be verified, authenticated and traced throughout the supply chain. ⁣

In turn, consumers are given confidence to make more informed decisions around the recycled garments they purchase and know with 100% certainty that their choices have contributed to help closing the loop.

"The sector undoubtedly needs more honesty and transparency around where and how things are made... At Belda Lloréns and Ecolife we want to provide high-quality, transparent and reliable solutions to everything we do at the circular economy level."

(FibreTrace) Why did Belda
Lloréns choose to partner with FibreTrace for this collaboration and how does Belda Llorens prioritise transparency within its business?

(FM) After years of searching for traceability solutions that would provide us with a good user experience, robust software and secured technology, we came across FibreTrace®.  After trailing and testing, it was clear that FibreTrace® was the best partner for us to provide full transparency and valuable data to our collaborators, clients and consumers for the brands we work with.

(FibreTrace) What is the importance of being able to track recycled fibre content for the global textile supply chain? What are its benefits?

(FM)This is a key issue at Belda Lloréns. The sector undoubtedly needs more honesty and transparency around where and how things are made. We have been in this industry for more than 60 years, and specifically 35 years working with recycled materials. At Belda Lloréns and Ecolife we want to provide high-quality and reliable solutions to everything we do at the circular economy level.

(FibreTrace) Belda Lloréns is known for producing recycled fibres made responsibly for the global textile industry. Why was partnering with Good Earth Cotton important to your sustainability story?

(FM) If we want to continue to be at the forefront of the sector, innovating and seeking out the best sustainable products for the industry, then Good Earth Cotton® is undoubtedly one of them. By joining carbon positive cotton to Ecolife, we get something truly unique.

(FibreTrace) What are Belda Lloréns’ long-term goals to implement true traceability and transparency?

(FM) The short and medium term objective for now is to perfectly implement FibreTrace® in all our launches and projects, and from here we will see the evolution. Long term, we will continue to innovate in areas such as blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI) and any other applications that will allow us to improve, operate with more transparency and maintain the highest standards of quality in our products. We wish to spearhead the textile sector into the circular economy.
