As the Head of Sustainability, HSE and Compliance at Sapphire Finishing Mills Limited, Raffay lead the organisation’s strategies and initiatives to meet the global retail customers' requirements and expectations on ESG Performance.

He has almost 9 years of experience in the textile industry with an educational background in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering with an ongoing Executive MBA degree.

He has successfully presented and managed more than 1000 man-day audits across the supply chain in his career, covering various standards and frameworks such as WRAP, BSCI, SA 8000, SEDEX, ZDHC, Higg Index, BHive, Nordic SWAN Eco-label, GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS, GSV, SCAN, GRI, UNGC, and ESG metrics.

Azka Rehman - Sapphire Finishing Mills Limited

As the Sustainability Lead at Sapphire Mills, Azka bring over 7 years of expertise in the textile sector, having collaborated with leading industry players.

Her track record includes spearheading sustainability initiatives, establishing baselines and targets, and excelling in standardized reporting. With a keen focus on sustainable product development, impact assessment and traceability, Azka’s technical proficiency spans Water Management, Carbon Footprints & GHG Emission Accounting, and Energy Management.

Holding a master’s degree from the Institute of Energy and Environmental Engineering, University of the Punjab, and is am currently enrolled in the Women in Executive Leadership Development Course at the University of Queensland, Australia, fully funded by Australia Awards.

Ismael Abdullah - Sapphire Finishing Mills Limited

Ismael currently serve as a Director at Sapphire Group, where he has the privilege of contributing to their fashion wear sales across Europe.

His educational journey took him to the United States, where he earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. In addition to overseeing sales, Ismael has the opportunity to lead the Marketing Communications (MarCom) and Sustainability teams.

He is committed to contributing to the team's efforts to navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, with a focus on collective success and responsible business practices.
