Certified Traceability.

FibreTrace® has officially obtained GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification across its traceability pigments.

The certification is another step forward for FibreTrace®, providing clients with an additional layer of confidence in the traceability pigments utilised across cotton, rPET, responsible viscose, wool and other responsible fibre types.

“We have always been confident in our pigment’s safety and durability throughout the global textile production process. To officially have our GOTS certification allows us to share this confidence with our brands and continue in our commitment to positively impact the industry through trusted traceability,” said Shannon Mercer, CEO of FibreTrace®.

The luminescent pigments are made of rare earth minerals most commonly found and used in renewables and solar energy. They are ceramic, inert and completely inorganic.

FibreTrace®’s exclusive partner, Leuchtstoffwerk Breitungen GmbH, is a recognised world leader and best in class for the transformation of products with high-quality optical materials.

For over 70 years, Leuchtstoffwerk Breitungen GmbH has worked with inorganic luminescent materials, speciality chemicals and coating technologies.
